Hi everyone, my name is Tanya. I am still very new to the work at home industry and have only begun working virtually this past year.
After seeing a segment on Good Morning America on oDesk I decided to check it out. Shortly after I began my first assignment as an HR/Administrative Assistant and continued to look for additional work.
It was through oDesk that I began my work with Savvy Talent Solutions. What started out as an HR Coordinator position for only a few hours a week has grown into a Recruiter role and a great working relationship with Savvy’s owner (despite the location difference of being in Pennsylvania while working for a company in Texas).
Being “introduced” to the world of working at home and all that is has to offer has been quite an experience. I am continually amazed at the opportunities, information, and and even the scams that are out there.
There is no shortage of information online; it’s the knowing what to believe and what to disregard that is not always so clear.
While, this blog barely scratches the surface, I hope to give those new to working at home something to think about and provide information while I continue to learn.
